Pannacotta:

  • 2 cups heavy cream (5 dl)
  • 1/4 cups milk (1 dl)
  • 2 packets agar agar (or substitute with gelatin equivalent)
  • ¼ tsp vanilla powder
  • Zest from one orange
  • 3 tbsp sugar

Passionfruit Topping:

  • 8 passion fruits
  • 1 ¼ cups freshly squeezed orange juice (3 dl)
  • 2 gelatin sheets
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Toppings:

  • Blueberries
  • Cream frech + 1 tbsp vanilla
  • Crushed raffaello or just shredded coconut
  • Gold glitter sprinkles
  • Mint leafs

Directions

  1. Panna Cotta:
  2. Make the agar agar following the instructions on the box.
  3. In a saucepan, heat the cream, agar agar, and sugar over medium heat until steaming but not boiling.
  4. Remove from heat and whisk in the vanilla powder and softened gelatin sheets. Continue whisking until fully dissolved.
  5. Allow to cool slightly.
  6. Pour the panna cotta mixture into clean glasses.
  7. Place them in the refrigerator for about an hour, or until the surface starts to set.Tip: Ensure the panna cotta is firm on top before adding the passion fruit layer; otherwise, the layers won’t separate neatly.
  8. Passion Fruit Topping:
  9. Make the agar agar following the instructions on the box.
  10. Scoop out the pulp of the passion fruits into a saucepan.
  11. Add the orange juice, agar agar mixture, and passionfruit and sugar. Heat the mixture gently until the sugar dissolves.
  12. Pour the passion fruit topping over the set panna cotta.
  13. Refrigerate for a few hours until fully firm.
  14. Serve chilled and enjoy your luxurious panna cotta! ✨
