The chewyest prettiest cookies you’ll find. If you’re familiar with my recipes before you know I ussally use browned butter in all my cookie recipes. These do not use brown butter but they are soooo good.
Ingredients
- 60 g room temp butter
- 1/2 dl | 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp bicarbonate
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 dl | 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 70 g roughly chopped dark chocolate ( i use 65% )
- Flaky salt to top
Directions
- Start by placing the butter in room temp 30 min before starting to bake.
- Then combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
- Combine sugar and butter in a bowl, mix with a hand mixer until slightly pale.
- Add the yolk and mix until combined.
- Now add all the dry ingredients in the wet along with the chocolate chunks and mix until just combined.
- Scoop the cookie dough and place on parchment paper, and place in the freezer for 30 min – over night. ( you can make the cookie dough beforehand and freeze it up to 2 weeks).
- Preheat the oven to 175 c or 350 f.
- Place your cookies on a new parchment paper with space between the cookie doughs.
- Bake for 12-15 min.
- Take out AND DON’T FREAK OUT, the cookies will most likley spread in the oven take a cup that’s a bigger size then the cookies and form your cookies by swerling the cup around the cookie.
- Now sprinkle some flaky salt on each cookie and let cool complatly so they set perfecly.
- Devour!
